There’s an invisible barrier between you and what you’re actually capable of. You can see what you want. You just can’t get there. Every time you get close, something pulls you back.

You’re the one holding everything together, because you are the most capable.  At work, in your marriage, in your family. You’re giving more than you receive and the resentment and exhaustion are building. 

You achieve things and know you are capable on paper but you still feel like a fraud. The guilt and fear of being found out don’t respond to evidence or logic. 

Underneath all of it: self-doubt, anxiety, anger that keeps coming back no matter what you do with it.

You’ve probably called these unreached potential, sabotage, burnout, imposter syndrome,  or codependency.  

You’ve been labeling and describing them. Working on the thoughts and the behaviors. 

But they persist because they are actually the symptoms of something deeper. 

Hi, I'm Sara Taylor, PhD.

Neuroscientist. Former psychology professor. Generational and existential coach.

The people who find me have done significant inner work and are still hitting a wall. Existential burnout. Repeated career or creative sabotage. Overfunctioning and overresponsibility. Guilt around success. Anxiety or anger that don't resolve no matter what they do.

I work at the intersection of generational healing, family systems, and somatic approaches. The layers underneath what the other work couldn't touch.
